I manage the planning and logistics for this event each year, and given the complexity of the event (multiple meeting rooms and coordination across many partners) the level of organization and support from the staff was especially impressive. "My husband and I spent one night at the DeSoto and were very happy with the service! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and decorated with Christmas trees through out. The bed was comfortable and the room spotless. The check in process was easy too. We grabbed coffee at the coffee bar downstairs which was very good. "Came here only for the Bridgerton Candlelight concert. The show was fantastic, however the only reason for taking off one star is for being that the venue and room we were in was incredibly hot. Thank goodness my friend and I had our fans with us otherwise we would’ve been miserable, but we were still uncomfortable even with our fans. The whole wing of where the event was held was very hot and out in the lobby was cool."

The lady I spoke with said it was closed the week I had called but it would be back open the week we arrive. It unfortunately was not. They have valet parking. "A charming hotel with a boutique vibe. Centrally located it made for a lovely walk to the river front, parks, restaurants and historical sites. The service was true southern hospitality through and through. For our first visit to Savannah we could not have asked for more. My only suggestion, if you are tall request a larger shower or bath, if available :))"

"Overall this hotel is beautiful inside. The room itself could have offered one or two more details for aesthetics, in my personal opinion but the room was pleasant enough...clean bathroom as well. The two main issues that I had however was the Wi-Fi would NOT connect to where my phone could allow me to cast my Hulu or Netflix app which has NEVER been an issue before. There was a constant issue saying that their Wi-Fi "did not have internet"..."
